CNC MACHINING FAQ

COMMON QUESTIONS

Upload a STEP, IGES, or DXF file, choose your material and finish, and get an instant credit-based quote. Our remote-operated 5-axis mills and live-tooling lathes machine the part; we ship it with an inspection report.

Aluminium (6061-T6, 7075-T6, 5052), steel (1018, 4140, stainless 304/316), brass C360, copper C110, and engineering plastics including Delrin, Nylon, PEEK, PTFE, and HDPE. Custom material requests welcome.

Standard tolerance is ±0.025mm; precision-class jobs hold ±0.005mm. Every job ships with first-article inspection. CMM and optical metrology are available for tighter QA reporting.

Yes. Our 5-axis milling centre handles complex geometries and reduces setups for organic shapes. We also run live-tooling CNC lathes up to 300mm diameter for turned parts.

STEP (.step / .stp) is preferred for solid-body geometry. IGES, SLDPRT, F3D, and DXF (for 2D profiles) are also accepted. Maximum file size 250MB per upload.

First-article CNC parts typically ship within 48 hours of approval. Larger batches and complex multi-setup jobs ship in 3–5 business days. You can track every job live through the dashboard.
