Privacy Policy
// LAST UPDATED: MARCH 2026
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, submit fabrication jobs, purchase tokens, or contact our support team. This includes:
- Account information — name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash).
- Design files — CAD files, STL files, Gerber files, drawings, and any other files you upload when submitting a fabrication job.
- Job specifications — material selections, tolerances, quantities, delivery instructions, and other parameters you specify per job.
- Payment information — billing address and token purchase history. Card numbers and payment credentials are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
- Communications — messages you send us via the contact form or in-platform support channels.
- Usage data — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and feature interactions, collected automatically when you use the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the WYNTEK platform. Specifically, we use your information to:
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you securely.
- Process fabrication jobs and communicate job status updates.
- Process token purchases and maintain your token balance.
- Send transactional emails (job confirmations, completion notifications, invoices).
- Respond to support requests and improve our service based on your feedback.
- Monitor platform health, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
We do not sell your personal information or your design files to third parties. We do not use your uploaded CAD files for any purpose other than fulfilling your requested fabrication jobs.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We share data with the following trusted sub-processors to deliver our service. Each processor is bound by data processing agreements and their respective privacy policies.
- Supabase — provides our authentication system and database hosting. Your account credentials and job records are stored in Supabase. Supabase infrastructure is hosted on AWS. See supabase.com/privacy.
- Stripe — handles all payment processing for token purchases. Stripe receives your payment card details and billing address directly. WYNTEK never stores raw card data. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Resend — handles transactional email delivery (job notifications, invoices, account emails). Your email address and email content are processed by Resend. See resend.com/privacy.
- Vercel — hosts and serves the WYNTEK web application. Request logs including IP addresses may be retained by Vercel as part of their infrastructure operations. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on infrastructure provided by Supabase (database and file storage) and Vercel (application layer), both of which operate in secure, SOC 2-compliant environments.
Uploaded design files are stored in Supabase Storage with row-level security policies ensuring that only you and authorized WYNTEK operators working on your job can access them.
While we implement industry-standard security measures — including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls — no system is perfectly secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to report any suspected unauthorized access to contact@wyntek.tech.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and job history for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes (e.g., financial records required for tax compliance, which may be retained for up to 7 years).
Uploaded design files associated with completed jobs are retained for 12 months after job completion to support warranty claims and repeat orders. You may request earlier deletion of your files at any time.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to certain processing activities.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@wyntek.tech. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar local storage mechanisms to operate the platform. These include:
- Authentication cookies — set by Supabase to maintain your logged-in session. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function.
- Preference cookies — used to remember your UI preferences (e.g., theme settings).
We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide appropriate consent mechanisms.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice in the platform. Your continued use of WYNTEK after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
